In previous discussions I have discussed about Tips To Increase Alexa Rank. This time I will discuss a bit about sitemaps and the benefits of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Lots of blogs or a web that discuss the importance of SEO sitemaps, sitemaps function is actually what the heck is this? Why we have to use sitemaps? The question was actually a question that came out of my own some time ago (I know are still novices who still need a lot to learn from the webmaster-webmaster with more experience), with the help om google finally I can get a little lesson about sitemaps.
Sitemaps was very important for search engine optimization. Sometimes we are not aware that there are some things that make our blog pages are not indexed by Google's robots, for example is a bad link between every page on our blog or for content that is too heavy on a blog that makes googlebot can not index these pages our blog. Sitemaps created for easy Googlebot to index all the content in your blog or on our website, by using sitemaps googlebot will be easier to index the entire contents of our blog despite the mistakes we do not realize like the things I mentioned above.
Maybe there are some friends who do not know how to create sitemaps for the blog, make that do not know how to please list first in Google Webmaster Tools, for which already have a Google account can simply login using your Google account. after that follow the required steps such as entering an address blogs, mem'verify use meta tags and so forth.
After the registration process is completed on the Dashboard page to select Sitemaps>>> Add Sitemaps, in the Choose type select Add General Web Sitemap.
Well, this is where the problem occurred. From the results of my search, many say that to create sitemaps we simply enter the URL of the feed bloggers we like:
Other bloggers, such as the original feed rss.xml and others.
The problem is after I try them all for a month over the results remain the same which sitemaps status ERROR. Well my friends that have the same problem with me, now I will share solutions to overcome the above problems.
Problems sitemaps errors in webmaster tools is exactly what happened because blogs use redirected Custom Feed Feedburner example. Apparently Sitemap status errors caused by the feed that goes into webmaster tools are not native to our blog feed, but feed that has been redirected via a custom feed. So why not use a redirected Custom Feeds can use the feed URL bloggers as I mentioned earlier.
Then how to make the use redirected Custom Feed?
Create a Custom Feed use redirected should not be discouraged, to use sitemaps please use this feed URL
http://blogname.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false
By using this feed URL, then feeds into the webmaster will not be redirected to the custom feeds, but feeds the original bloggers will be directly sent to the webmaster tools. therefore using the sitemap status feed URL will no error.
o yes there is a little extra, just feed URL to show 25 links post, so for my friends who have posted over 25 can use a feed URL like this.
